I have known Emilie Ward for several years, both as a pet owner and as an employee. I have found her to have an amazing touch with animals of all shapes, sizes and personalities. She has befriended a very sick kitten as well as multiple needy dogs. Her skills as a veterinary assistant make her especially valuable for animals requiring medications. Emilie was fabulous...I could tell she loved the girls and took great care of them. Other times when we have left the dogs with sitters I wondered if they got enough exercise and attention b/c they are really hyper upon our return...when we got home last night the girls were happy to see us but mellow for the most part and went right to sleep on our heads in bed. She just did little things that went above and beyond and I found that to be wonderful...especially this day in age when people are so attached to their pets and hate leaving them. Zach and I are moving into a condo at the end of Feb...so no more yard...we will definintely use Emilie for day visits.
